Vivid storytellers, Scott van Teeffelen & the Backroads Band deliver their brand of music in the country music tradition while weaving into every song influences of classic rock and mainstream pop. They have been described as "Garth Brooks meets the Eagles" and their high energy stage show is the icing on the cake with tight vocal harmonies and energy that gets your toes tappin'!

Scott van Teeffelen is an independent recording artist currently promoting his new CD entitled “NORTH”. The Backroads Band was formed in late 2004 to back Scott for live venues and while on tour. All four members of the band are seasoned songwriters and a new CD is being planned for the near future.

The musical style of Scott van Teeffelen and The Backroads Band is best described as “New Country” or "Country Rock". Their music has a pop influence with a rock edge but maintains more traditional country roots.
